dc.description.abstractThe automobile industry is making progress by considering the basic performance of cars and the emotionalaspects of humans. The feeling of a door closing is one of the first things that vehicle users encounter. Thearea of the extractor grille is an important factor facilitating the door’s smooth closure. However, increasingthe area of the extractor grille to improve performance negatively impacts air conditioning; therefore,optimization is necessary. In this study, the area of the extractor grille was increased to 20 cm2, focusing onthe indoor static pressure generated inside the vehicle, and the increase in grille specimen size was conductedin increments of 20 cm², ranging from 0 to 200 cm². were produced to check the static pressure inside thevehicle and the door-closing state. Thus, the study optimized the minimum extractor grille area required forair conditioning function and door closing performance.-
