dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the wear properties of Al6061-T6 aluminum alloy used in rotary joints, focusing on surfaceroughness. Rotary joints are critical for supplying cooling water without twisting tubing during the rotation ofmultifunction radar structures, making seal integrity essential. The demand for improved surface quality by sealmanufacturers inherently increases processing costs. This study aims to determine the optimal surface roughness levelthat balances cost and performance. Samples were processed at various roughness levels, and their wear resistancewas evaluated using a Taber abrasion tester. The study findings aim to offer valuable insights for product designand manufacturing processes in relevant industries.-
