Abstract

백석 시의 공간과 시의식 연구김 소 정**

연구 목적: 이 연구는 백석 시에 선텍된 공간을 유형화하고 그 속에 투영된 시인의 세계인식과 시의식을 고찰하여 그의 시세계를 새롭게 이해하기 위한 목적에서 시작하였다. 연구 방법: 공간 속에는 다양한 층위의 시적 대상들이 등장하고 시인의 상상력과 그들의 관계에 의해 공간의 의미와 성격이 결정된다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 시적 공간 속에 형상화된 대상들의 양상에 따라 설화적 공간, 유랑 공간 그리고 고립된 공간으로 유형화하여 의미화하였다. 연구 내용: 설화적 공간에서는 신과 인간, 자연과 동물이 어우러져 민족 공통의 기억을 환기하고 화해와 공동체적 삶을 지향하는 주체의 의지가 드러난다. 타향이나 타국에서의 생활이 주로 형상화되는 유랑 공간에서는 고향을 잃고 타지에서 떠도는 실향민의 디아스포라적 정서가 표출되고 있다. 시적 화자가 ‘홀로’ 등장하는 고립된 공간에서는 자기응시를 통해 결국엔 자기긍정으로 나아가는 모습을 확인할 수 있다. 결론 및 제언: 인간 삶의 토대가 되는 공간과 시의식을 연계하여 고찰한 이 연구는 그 속에 투영된 시인의 상상력과 의식체계 전반을 엿보게 한다는 점에서 가치가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to newly understand the poetic world of Baekseok by contemplating the global consciousness and poetic consciousness of the poet as typifying the space selected at the in the Baekseok’s poetry and reflected in his poetry. Within the space, the poetic objects of diverse strata have emerged and the implication and characteristics of space are determined by the imagination of poet and their relationship. Therefore, in this paper, according to the aspects of the objects shaped in the poetic space, they were typified into narrative space, wandering space, and isolated space. within the poetic space. In the narrative space, god and human, nature and animal are harmonized to reminisce the memory of common for people, and it displays the drive of main subject that strives for life of harmony and community. In the wandering space mainly typifies in life of out of town or in overseas, it is shown for diasporic sentiment of displaced people who are wandering around without their home. In the isolated space where the narrator of poetry emerges ‘alone’, it is feasible for the eventual appearance of forwarding in self-positivity through starring at itself. This study that has contemplated by linking the spatial and poetic consciousness that are the foundation of human life has its value as it shows its glimpse of entire imagination and consciousness system of the poet reflected within.
