- Abstract
- This study explores the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning (PBL) class designs in enhancing digital literacy among humanities college students, focusing on Russian and English majors. Based on two major classes at G University's College of Humanities in the spring semester of 2023, designed as PBL courses with the goal of enhancing digital literacy, this research investigates the impact of the blended approach. The study provides illustrative PBL class designs and outcomes, showcasing how PBL seamlessly integrates digital literacy competencies into humanities education. Furthermore, a comprehensive survey employs Likert scale questions and multiple-choice inquiries to quantify students' perspectives on the efficacy of integrating digital literacy into discipline-specific education. This study highlights the significance of PBL class designs in nurturing digital literacy among humanities students and offers valuable insights for educators designing impactful digital literacy courses tailored to students' specific needs.
