- Abstract
- 이 연구는 울산 주민들이 추어왔던 덧배기 춤의 명칭을 명확하게 정리하기 위한 것이다. 연구 진행은먼저 덧배기가 가진 의미에 의한 명칭을 고찰하고, 덧배기 춤이 다른 연행에 융합되어 전래된 것과 독립적인 존재성을 갖춘 춤이라는 것을 고찰하였다. 선행적 상황은 2016년 울산광역시는 지역 무형문화유산을 전수 조사하였고, 이 지역의 덧배기를 울산덧배기로 공식화하였다. 이 연구에서는 덧배기의 명칭에 관한 근거를 관련 법령인 무형문화재법에 의해 확보하였다. 그리고 기존 무형문화재의 명칭에 관한 관행에 의해, ‘덧배기’ 유산에서 ‘춤’이라는 단어를 어미에 더하여 울산덧배기춤이라고 명칭을 제시하였다. 연구 방법은 문헌 조사와 울산광역시의 무형문화유산전수조사 보고서 및 무형문화재법에 의해고찰한다. 이는 울산광역시에서 공식화한 춤 유산의 명칭에 대해 그 근거를 찾고, 무형문화재로 지정한관행에 따라 명칭을 제시한 것이다.
