대학의 5ㆍ18 영화연구와 사회참여의식에 관하여

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the two master's theses (Lee, Hyunjin and Chai, Heesuk) regarding 5ㆍ18 movies and highlight the social participation of universities, hoping to contribute to the theory and methodology of the 5ㆍ18 movie-study for the future. I study the theses separately to keep off a dichotomous way of thinking in the second and third chapter and, in a long conclusion, continue to study three more following theses of masters and suggest the strategies to develop the research. As a result, 5ㆍ18 movies and the study of it at the universities should be concentrated much enough to make the truth ascertainment efforts of the democratization movement. So many subjects of human rights violation at that time are ideal materials to increase the verisimilitude of the films.
