- Abstract
- The 1990s means the end of cold war in the North Hemisphere and also the fall of Apartheid in South Africa, meaning that the Caucasians in the country turned over the reigns of the Government to the colored people, such as Nelson Mandela. However, the policy of Apartheid has not disappeared in the residence styles and the language use as an official one in the country. This paper studies the topics of residence and language difference and discusses some solutions in and out of the country. The second chapter, with the help of detailed illustration and the magazine of Time, illuminates the unequal aspect as a legacy of Apartheid, and the third treats the similar contents in the language use. The conclusion throws the task of solving the problems. Too much inequality between the rich and the poor in one country goes to the international attention and goes to the universal problems, common homework as a human being.
