고등학생의 대학 진학 결정과 전공 선택에 영향을 미치는 요인: 학생 배경 및 부모 배경 변수를 중심으로

| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 한국교육고용패널조사(KEEP) 데이터를 활용하여 학생 배경 및 부모배경 변수가 대학 진학 결정 및 전공 선택에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 데 목적이있다. KEEPⅡ 6차년도 데이터를 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 남학생이 고등학교 졸업에 머무르지 않고, 전문대 이상의 진학을 시도할 확률이 더 높았으며 부모의 임금 및 금융소득 증가는 대학교까지 진학할 확률을 더높이고 있었고, 학생의 고등학교 계열에 따라 대학 진학에 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 부모와 학교/학과에 관한 대화를 자주 할수록 대학에 진학할 가능성이 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 흥미/적성에 관한 대화가 많을수록 기타 계열의 전공을선택할 확률이 높았다. 셋째, 고등학교 수학 성적이 높을수록 대학 진학의 가능성이높아지는 가운데, 자연/공학 계열 전공의 선택에도 유의미한 영향을 주고 있었다. 본 연구는 이상의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 학생의 진로 선택과 관련한 시사점을 논의하였다. | - |
