dc.description.abstractWe developed a swash plate piston pump, and this study focused on a saddle bearing that controls the swashplate inclination angle of the pump. Wear-resistant copper was selected as the material for the saddlebearings. A zigzag oil groove was designed on the bearing surface to maintain a uniform oil pressure, andthe pressure distribution was analyzed. In addition, the best alternative was determined through a comparativetest of three methods of supplying lubricating oil to the saddle bearing: the internal supply orifice method,external supply orifice method, and external supply gap method. Testing confirmed that the gap-based externalsupply method not only prevented channel blockage by impurities, which is a disadvantage of the existing.-
