This paper analyzes the circuit structure, failure rate, efficiency, and cost of isolated full-bridge converters, which are widely used in various power conversion systems, based on the voltage margin of the component. A comparative analysis is conducted between the rectifier circuit with the current doubler and the full bridge rectifier circuit, considering the secondary of the transformer. The FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) technique identifies failure factors and evaluates their occurrence probability based on MIL-HDBK-217F, considering operational environmental factors and operational hazards. Additionally, through a cost model using commercially available circuit components, the trade-off relationship between converter price and efficiency based on the voltage margin of the component is derived. © 2023 IEEE.-
