- Abstract
- The automatic tapping device presented in this research can be applied to devices that require tapping work, such as molding machines such as press dies and injection dies. For pressed parts that include small tapping, the general method is to perform additional tapping on a dedicated tapping line after pressing. At this time, if the production volume is small, tapping is performed manually. As a result, many problems have arisen, such as installation costs and labor costs for dedicated lines, and delivery delays due to increased work hours. To solve this problem, research and development of an automatic tapping device are underway. In this research, we studied gear characteristics according to the shape of the driving module, which is the power transmission medium, an important element of the designed automatic tapping device. © 2023, The Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers and Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.
