dc.description.abstractEnvironmental, Social, and Governance policies related to carbon neutrality have been strengthened. Thus,vehicles with internal combustion engines are being converted to eco-friendly vehicles at a high rate. However,the battery of an electrical vehicle being considerably heavy, the weight of the monoblock-type caliper housingof the vehicle, a component of the vehicle steering system, has to be reduced weight reduction. In this study, amonoblock-type caliper housing was machined by using a twin angle spindle machining tool instead of theconventional single spindle machining tool. The use of the twin angle spindle helped meet the machiningrequirements with regard to processing time and precision, and roundness and surface roughness of the machinedcaliper housing.-
