Abstract

In ≪Bingbian(丙編)≫051/052, the king of Shang dynasty had a dream, and it was recorded that he made a fortune over the question of whether the dream would lead to a misfortune, prayers to the ancestors, and summoning Qiangzu(羌族). In ≪Bingbian(丙編)≫053/054, it is recorded that the sacrifice to be used for the memorial service, the object of the memorial service to the god Sifangfeng(四方風), the harm of Fuyi(父乙), and the issue of union with Wuhou(虣侯). In Bingbian(丙編)055/056, it is recorded that the union with Yangbohou(昜伯), the union with Hougao(侯告), and the problem of harvesting crops. In ≪Bingbian(丙編)≫057/058, it is recorded that a fortune was made in relation to the ritual for Jiu(酒) and the ritual for Deng(登) using millet, and that a disaster was suffered as a result of it. It also recorded the fortune-telling of the issue of conquest for Tangyi(唐邑) and the issue of sacrifice for Biji(妣己)⋅Bigeng(妣庚)⋅Gaobiji(高妣己). In ≪Bingbian(丙編)≫059/060, a divination was recorded over the question of whether the sun would come out and clear the day. Yanci(驗辭) is also recorded at the same time that there was a lunar eclipse in the evening and the day was cloudy but it didn’t rain.
