| dc.description.abstract | In this study, a dedicated angle spindle was developed to machine holes in the narrow gaps of monoblocktype caliper housings for electric vehicles. The design goal of the twin-angle spindle was determined,structural analysis of the gear and main shaft arbor was performed, and natural frequency was analyzedthrough modal analysis of the assembly. A characteristic test was conducted on the machined and assembledtwin-angle spindle to confirm whether it met the proposed design goal. | - |
