In this paper, we deal with the magnetic field analysis of a magnetron composed of axisymmetric and rectangular structures using hybrid type finite element method. The magnetron used in microwave oven has cylindrical permanent magnet and rectangular iron plate to generate magnetic field. By comparing with the experimental results, we show that the proposed computational method is suitable to analyze a magnetron composed of axisymmetric and rectangular structures.-
