dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to investigate the effect of uniconazole treatment at last year on the growth of Punica granatum and Callicarpa japonica Thunberg of this year. The two plants were 2 years old and grown by seedling. The 200ml of 0, 10, 50, and 100 mgL-1 uniconazole were treated at June 1. 2006 as drench, foliar spray and drench + foliar spray. The highest duration effects of uniconazole for reducing plant height was 100 mgL-1 drench treatment surveyed at Oct. 16. 2007. But that resulted in leaf rolling and bad plant shape by severe dwarfing, thus did not show normal plant shape. Among the treatment method, soil drench was the continuative efficiency to control height. And with 50 mgL-1 had similar effect of soil drench and not resulted in leaf roll and unusual growth.-
