정부의 농산물 수매 행태가 생산에 미치는 영향 : 쌀을 중심으로

Abstract

Government purchase policy is so far known as a decoupled income transfer to producers, so the policy does not affect production unless price uncertainty is assumed. This paper, however, shows that production is affected by the purchasing patterns of the government. Though the purchase policy is decoupled with production when the government buys a fixed quantity from growers, the policy is not if the quantity the government buys increases at a fixed rate with total production. In addition, this paper shows how much the purchase policy in Korea contributed to the increase in total rice production.
