Abstract
Nowadays 4D simulation connected with 4D CAD is used for improving the efficiency of the operation among every process such as the interference check in pre-construction phase. However, it is not used for the efficient operation but used for the visual expression. Besides, the reviews of current commercial applications usually focused on the design and planning work. In addition, in aspect of the level of visualization, the level of those is not higher than the level of simply visualization about Construction equipment and planning progress. The purpose of this study is to develop BIM-based construction simulation application. 4D simulation should be used for the optimization and efficiency, and be differentiated from the existing 4D simulation program; VA-CoMACS(Virtual Almighty Construction Method based Architectural Construction Schedule).
