외레순 식품클러스터의 산･학･관 협력체계와 지원기관의 역할 연구

Abstract

This paper aims at identifying the collaborative system between universities, industry and national and regional authorities in the Öresund food cluster that is one of the advanced food clusters in Europe. Since the Öresund region is comprised of three local authorities of two countries of Denmark and Sweden, it is the unique model of food clusters in the world. From exploring the socio-economic situation and collaboration in research and development in the region, this paper identifies the role of cluster facilitating organisation, named Öresund Food Network, in the development of food industry in Öresund. Even though there are only 9 staffs working in the organisation, it truly initiates collaboration between research, industry and authorities in order to contribute to the economic growth of the food sector in the region. It implies that the policy for establishing food clusters in Korea should give more attention to the way setting up the collaborative system than to investment of large money in infrastructure.
