도시공간의 범죄발생패턴 및 특성에 관한 연구 - 진주시를 중심으로

Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the spatio-temporal pattern of urban crime occurrence and identify the relation between crime occurrence rate and urban spatial structure in Jinju City, Korea. The research methods are as follows: First, the scope, method and analysis frame of this research is established through theoretic investigation and the existing research analysis. Second, the aim was to clarify characteristics in crime by land use through overlaying the crime data map and the land-use status map. Third, the study find out patterns of crime occurrences according to analyzed global, local and land use by utilizing crime occurrence data. Fourth, the study carried out spatial autocorrelation analysis according to crime occurrences. Especially, this study offered important issue to implementing U-Crime Prevention service that is being expanded the demand in U-City project, which is being driven nationally. It is expected to come to probably promote development in U-City by being utilized as guideline necessary for designing and developing U-Crime Prevention service.
