- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to investigate the possibility of using the bamboo activated carbon as eco-building interior materials. A series of tests was conducted such as strength test, water absorbency test, and adsorption test of pollution materials. The properties was compared with the those of pine charcoal. The specimens were made with two admixtures various replacement ratio (0%, 5%, 10%). From the test results, bamboo activated carbon modified cement mortars have quite performance in strength and adsorption. The porosity of two admixture was also evaluated by SEM and nitrogen adsorption method.
