산업단지 조성에 따른 경제적 효과 분석

| dc.description.abstract | 산업단지는 한국의 경제발전을 주도한 거점 공간으로 기능해 왔으나, 이에 대한 연구 성과는 상대적으로 미흡한 실정이다. 산업단지는 조성단계에서부터 운영단계에 이르기까지 다양한 형태로 지역경제에 파급효과를 유발한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 산업단지의 조성에 따른 경제적 효과(생산 및 취업유발효과)를 직접적으로 측정한 연구는 거의 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 현재 조성 중에 있는 경상남도의 김해, 산막 및 함안 일반산업단지를 대상으로 산업단지 조성에 따른 경제적 효과를 측정하였다. 이를 위해 산업단지의 조성단계를 부지조성단계, 기업입주단계, 운영 및 관리단계로 세분하였으며, 또한 각 단계별 측정모형을 설정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 부지조성단계와 기업입주단계에서는 취업유발효과 및 생산유발효과가 산업단지별 토목공사관련 지출비용에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만, 운영 및 관리단계에서는 생산유발효과와 취업유발효과의 순위가 다른 것으로 나타났는데, 이러한 결과는 산업단지별 유치 업종의 차이에 주로 기인하기 때문으로 판단된다. 따라서 산업단지 조성 주체는 생산액 증대보다 일자리 창출에 초점을 둘 경우 분양 가능성을 고려함과 동시에 취업유발효과가 상대적으로 큰 업종의 기업에 대한 유치를 도모할 필요가 있다. | - |
