| dc.description.abstract | The study investigated character of the text for grammar education, figured out its important aspects by examining change process of text focused on the Korean grammar textbooks for high school(1-7th), and suggested requirements which the text for grammar education has. For the text for grammar education, metatext element to play a role of guide about teacher and learner has been reinforced considering grammar teaching and learning. And method in learning activity has changed from simple method to identify knowledge on text to various methods to identify or apply text content, to infer and explore principle or rule through the linguistic materials. Moreover, perspective about the materials became flexible and expanded from theoretical position to use typical example as the linguistic material to ecological position to actively use the linguistic material in various genres which can be contacted in actual life. That is, it was ‘expanded’ from typical example to explain theory to actual material which can be easily accessed. And the text for grammar education is composed of metatext, instruction text, description text, example text, material text. Based on the discussion, basic requirements of the text for grammar education are suggested as follows. 1. The text for grammar education represents content as pedagogical grammar. 2. The text for grammar education(linguistic materials) can select typicality and authenticity. 3. The text for grammar education should encourage intellectual development(development of thinking). 4. The text for grammar education includes all the linguistic units. The text for grammar education should include concrete application measures about various interpretation power and integrated knowledge on classical knowledge while representing pedagogical grammar. Especially, description of text and method to embody learning activity, appropriateness of used linguistic materials etc. should be explored with constructive goal. | - |
