Relationship between Happiness of Middle-aged Employee and Old Age Life Preparation

Abstract

This study is the descriptive correlation research, processed to understand relationship among happiness andpreparation rate for old age life. The results from this research can be used as basic data for happier senescent life. Datawere collected from a total of 229 workers(age 40 to 59). Data analysis was done using SPSS 18.0 program and includeddescriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson’s correlation coefficients and multiple regression. Results werehappiness rate showed positive correlation with all variable except education background. And, it was explained 21.4%by physical preparation rate, subjective economy status, leisure preparation and education background. In conclusion, tobe ready for healthy and happier aged society, active welfare policy will be needed including health and spare time managementfor middle age adult at work fields and communities.
