The purpose of this study is to evaluate the absorptive capacities mechanism and supply chain performance of Korean firms and Chinese Suppliers in China. To this end, this study provides an overview of the relevant literature and develops ad the research model based on absorptive capacities and supply chain management. The research model is examined using the data from Korean firm and partners of supply chain in China. The research hypotheses are tested using a structural equation model analysis known as PLS. Our results suggest that potential absorptive capacities have a positive effect on realized absorptive capacities and that supply chain performances are influenced by the exploitation of realized absorptive capacities. ?2015 International Information Institute.-
