| dc.description.abstract | This paper is researching the figurations of 4 female characters at the poems of the historical novel 『Three Kingdoms』. The story of 『Three Kingdoms』develops around the major male characters like Cao Cao(曹操), Zhou Yu(周瑜), Liu Bei(劉備), Guan Yu(關羽) and Kong ming(孔明). However, although the proportions are not comparable to those male charscters', more than 80 female characrters also come on the stage, and only 13 females are mentioned at the poems of the novel, This paper is researching the figurations of 4 female characters among them, lke Diao Chan(貂蟬), Xu’ mother(徐母), Madamme Mi(糜夫人), and Xiahou Ling's daughter(夏侯令女) The images expressed at the poems are very characteristic. Diao Chan(貂蟬) is figured to be sexy and righteous, Xu’ mother(徐母) to be strong and indignant, Madame Mi(糜夫人) to be resolute and sacificial, and Xiahou Ling's daughter(夏侯令女) to be faithful and high-principled. These four female's images seem different each other apparently, but in fact they are all depicted on the basis of confucianism commonly. So it could be said that the four female's images are all the same in some sense. | - |
