dc.description.abstractNeeds of consumer for secure and economical buildings are increasing because buildings size are becoming larger and complexity. In addition, HVAC systems for heating and cooling operation of the buildings have automated and complicated, the risk of economical loss has increased due to system fault. However, fault and performance degradation of the air conditioning system is usually difficult to understand and access general users, the resolutions also require trained professionals. The investigation of the fault cases should be a priority for the determination of fault and performance degradation, but in this study was conducted previous research analysis and classification diagnostic methods because it is difficult to share the fault cases. Performance was identified according to the fault element, such as energy usage changes and indoor temperature changes, by simulation. Finally, this study will be applied as part of a developing fault detection and diagnostic algorithm used for BEMS (Building Energy Management System).-
