| dc.description.abstract | "Interest in character education has recently been increasing in South Korea. The purpose of this study was to investigate the important strategies of character education in nursing by analyzing the nurses' characters in clinical settings. Findings reveal that the mean score of nurses' character was 3.83±0.36 of five. The factors related to the highest scores were integrity, reliability and etiquette, and the factors of the lowest scores were composure, enthusiasm and civility. The scores of nurses with general position, college or university degrees, and less than 10 years' experience were lower in teamwork scores than comparison groups. The results suggest the implementation of character education programs for nurses and students to improve care in clinical settings. ? 2017 International Information Institute. | - |
