A sample of 160 primigravidas was recruited from two obstetrics and gynecology hospitals in Korea. The survey was conducted with participants using self reported questionnaire from march 3 to may 5, 2016. the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation analysis. There were statistically significant differences in perception of pregnancy risk according to age in general and obstetric characteristics (t=2.03, p=.043). There were also statistically significant differences in spouse support scores according to age (t=3.82, p<.001), job (t=2.57, p=.011), and prenatal education (t=-2.72, p=.007). perception of pregnancy risk and spouse support were correlated with anxiety (r=.416, p<.001; r=-.176, p=.026). Primigravidas over 35 years old need enhanced perception of pregnancy risk. There is need for education about knowledge of high risk pregnancy. | - |
