- Abstract
- A dual polarized meandered dipole antenna with dual resonance at 915 MHz is presented. It consists of two circular plates and two rectangular supporters. For dual linear polarization, two meander-shaped dipole antennas with orthogonal location are applied. To cover the wide bandwidth, the proposed antenna has the dual resonance using different dipole arms. Two supporters have integrated feeding lines using a coplanar waveguide with a ground plane which included LC-balun. The size of this antenna is 0.21 lambda 0 x 0.21 lambda 0 x 0.08 lambda 0, (lambda 0 is a wavelength at 915 MHz). The peak gains are 2.67 dBi and 2.12 dBi, and the 10 dB impedance bandwidths are approximately 10% and 7%, respectively.
