- Abstract
- This study analyzed the moderating effects of the social entrepreneurial environment on entrepreneurial activity. Eight hypotheses were framed for the purpose of this research. Regression analysis and ANO VA (analysis of variance) were conducted on Korean data from the 2012 GE M (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor) APS (Adult Population Survey). We found both entrepreneurial capability and entrepreneurial environment to have a positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Second, the entrepreneurial environment had a moderating impact on entrepreneurial capability. Further, social outlook toward money and social support for the entrepreneur had a moderating and partial moderating effect, respectively on the relationship between entrepreneurial capability and entrepreneurial intention. ?
