dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study is to test of applicability through the pilot scale using hybrid desulfurization media for the removal of hydrogen sulfide(H2S) in biogas, that generate in the anaerobic digestion processes in STP and can be utilized as renewable energy source. As a result, the 99% removal efficiency of H2S was obtained by applying hybrid media which can chemical adsorption mechanism of metal ions and biological mechanisms of microorganisms. Through the regeneration process of supplying oxygen of 0.5% of the biogas flow rate, the 99% removal efficiency of H2S was obtained during the operation period of 180 days. The adsorption amount of the hybrid desulfurization media was about 0.25 kg-H2S/kg-pellets.-
