dc.description.abstractThis study explores a proposition to adopt organic light emitting diode lighting to furniture such as built-in wardrobe and student desk very popular in contemporary everyday life domestic. Being called as fourth and next generation lighting, OLED lighting is eco-friendly as made by organic substance and OLED thickness is under 1 mm flexible. Hence, such characteristics as thin and flexible shows a potentiality to create many types of stand and pendent lighting with new design. Thereby, contemporary furniture will be able to adopt OLED lighting which will be designed newly and creatively in the future as furniture designers collaborate the company such as LG developing and producing most of the domestic OLED lighting, while the OSRAM and PHILIPS develop it abroad.-
