| dc.description.abstract | 이 연구는 거창⋅산청⋅함양 사건 유족운동의 전개과정을 유족과 국가, 유족과 언론, 유족과시민사회의 다양한 행위자들이 상호작용하며 수행하는 유족의 상(喪)의 과정이라는 관점에서 살펴보았다. 특히 이 글은 사건의 진실에 대한 국가의 부인(denial) 행동을 시정하기 위한 유족들의 시인(recognition) 전략에 초점을 맞추었다. 유족들의 시인 전략은 1) 희생자의 묘비 건립과 추모(기념) 사업에 초점을 둔 사회적 인정 투쟁과 2) 명예 회복과 배상 입법에 초점을 둔 법적 인정 투쟁으로 구축되었다. 이 과정은 거창 유족회와 산청⋅함양 유족회가 사건의 진실에 대한 피해자의 권리와 사회적 공감을 확장하며 한국전쟁 민간인학살과거청산운동을 이끈 중요한 주체였다는 점을 입증한다. | - |
