Abstract
Korea is an emerging growth market in the field of medical tourism based on its excellent medical service quality. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the feasibility about cloud service of medical tourism. This study utilizes an interview with expert group to establishing a cloud service regarding customized medical tourism platform, systematically providing with medical tourism information to medical tourists visiting Korea from overseas countries. Based on the study, a new medical tourism business model derived from the results of the research will be able to create new demand markets in various tourism fields such as medical, culture, sports, and etc., and will also lead to mutual growth among domestic industries and cloud activation as well. In particular, unlike traditional medical tourism services programs, medical tourism cloud platform services can provide personalized service and information to medical tourists, and medical tourists can use the auction/reverse auction services of the cloud to provide services. In addition, each treatment department will be able to prepare follow-up measures to improve service quality of medical tourism.
